The Women’s Club Lacrosse program has grown rapidly since its recognition in April 2014. Determined to be an official Campus Rec Club, Mattison King (Class of 2016) pushed for official status and the team completed its first season in 2015. UNH’s initial success was evident, and with a full roster had a 7-2 record that spring. As a part of the New England Women’s Lacrosse League, UNH plays six in-conference teams: Dartmouth, Bates, UMaine, St. Anselm’s, UVM and Merrimack, in addition to scheduling games against other strong competition in our region.

The UNH Women’s Club Lacrosse Team is committed to building leadership and service across the university and the community. On campus, we are actively involved in charitable events and community service (Wentworth Home, Clothing Drive). We produce a variety of team fundraisers (Krispy Kreme and Chipotle), collaborate with other sport clubs on grants, and have shown continued growth and expansion as a club. On the field, our fall and spring seasons are dedicated to bringing our team to the ‘next level’ at the WCLA National Tournament each year. The UNH Women’s Club Lacrosse team is a two time NEWLL Regional Champion (2018, 2019). The team traveled to Round Rock, Texas (2018) and recently Virginia Beach, Virginia as a top 12 Division II team qualifier for WCLA Nationals. After returning from Nationals this May 2019, we are proud to be ranked sixth in the nation out of 149 Division II college club teams.
